Document Assistant — Concept Project
An internal concept exploring how an AI assistant could help a team find answers inside long internal documents instead of searching through them manually.
Défi
Internal knowledge — policies, specs, onboarding material — tends to live in long documents that are accurate but slow to search. People either ask a colleague or give up looking, and the document itself stops being useful.
Approche
Rather than starting with 'let's add a chatbot,' we started with the specific task: answering a question from a set of internal documents, with a visible source for every answer, so the tool stays trustworthy rather than just fast.
Produit
A document assistant that lets a user ask a question in plain language and get an answer sourced directly from the underlying documents, with a link back to where it came from — built to make existing knowledge easier to use, not to replace it.
Fonctionnalités clés
- Plain-language Q&A over a set of internal documents
- Every answer links back to its source passage
- Designed to say "I don't know" rather than guess when the answer isn't in the documents
